Letter from the Administrator

Dear Residents of Edgar County, On behalf of the staff here at Edgar County Public Health Department (ECPHD) and Tri-County Dental Clinic (TCDC), I wish to thank you for your continued support. The ultimate goal of the ECPHD is to provide excellence in the service in the ever-changing face of public health. Identifying the needs of the community, ECPHD continues to provide a wide variety of valuable programs and services to the people of Edgar County. Services include the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Family Case Management (FCM), and Teen Parent Services (TPS) programs. We also offer numerous enviromental programs which provide food, water, well, and septic inspections, West-Nile Virus testing, Bio-Terrorism/Emergency preparedness, the health education programs, the chronic and communicable desease programs, and the available dental services provided by the TCDC. Under the guidance and direction of the board of health, the county board and most importantly the support of the community, the ECPHD will undoubtedly answer the call and continue to provide much needed programs and services to the community. Lastly, I would like to thank the ECPHD staff that work tirelessly with unwavering enthusiams and dedication to their profession and their community.
